| RE: A questionaire for women | | This post is for the ladies on the board. will be doing a teaching, of sorts, in a few weeks about women and religion in my 'women's studies' class. THere is a project in the book that I want to do to enlighten the information in the book. Some of which I think it biased. There are 6 questions in there to be asked of Ladies about their faith and their role in their church and community.
How could I get a response from any ladies to the questions without the reponses being seen in the open? _________________ John

| Re: | | You could post your questions on the forum and ask the ladies to email you the answers privately if you have your email addy posted on your profiles page. I would be slow to post your email addy on this forum - some scammer could find it and flood your email box with unwanted mailings.
Just a suggestion...I would be willing to assist you.

| Re: | | Since you don't want the questions posted openly, we could just email you letting you know our email addresses and telling you we agree! How's that?!!
God bless and good grades with your project, Lisa

| Re: questionaire for women | | What do you suppose would yield the best results for response to the questionaire I have submitted? I have posted it in 2 forums, sent one to a personal email of a lady in the church I attend as well as 3 other churches. I have received a response from lady on this forum as well as the lady from the church I attend but I have not heard anything from the 3 churches.
Any suggestions? _________________ John

| Re: A thought | | John,
Your project keeps me thinking...yesterday a thought came to me...I am not sure I have shared this via email and if I did, oh well, just chalk it up to forgetfulness!
Anyhow, I really do wonder if there would be a feminist movement if dads would love their daughters as God intended them to do. AND if husbands would love AND cherish their wives like Christ loved the church and gave himself for her.
Love as his own body...how do men love their bodies? Very much. If they have some pain the world almost stops spinning for them! Males' pain threshold is so small, so small it can exasperate a female! "Why you fussing at something so little??!!" What if a dad/husband would love the females in his household with equal fervor?
Cherish. Get a male his favorite truck or antique car. Man! you can barely touch it for fear you may put a scratch on it. This is an item to be cherished, or so he thinks. What if this attitude would be characteristic of the women under his care?
I find it tragic that in times past widows did not automatically inherit their husband's estate. I have read wills men wrote what they are leaving for their wife upon their demise. So little, just bare necessities. And I wonder at the love this man had for his wife...
Just a few thoughts...
