WHERE IS WISDOM? by David Wilkerson

by David Wilkerson September 27, 2011

“But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Man does not know its value, nor is it found in the land of the living” (Job 28:12-13).

Who can find it?
The depth saith, “It is not in me.”
The sea saith, “It is not with me.”
It cannot be gotten with gold,
Neither can silver be weighed
For the price thereof.
It cannot be valued...precious onyx
It cannot be exchanged for jewels,
Not to mention coral or pearls,
For the price of wisdom
Is above rubies.
Whence then cometh wisdom?
Where is the place of understanding?
God understands
And He knoweth the place thereof.
He who seeth under the whole heaven,
Who measures the weight of wind,
Unto men He saith,
The fear of the Lord—
That is wisdom.
To depart from evil—
That is understanding.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning
Of all wisdom.
He who would have wisdom,
Let him in love
Fear God
And forsake his sins.”

I believe the wisdom needed today in the Church is to realize the days that we're living in.
David was one of the first to put out last days warnings through his first few books.
Few can tell you what is going on in the Middle East right now or the economies of the world. The world is reeling and rocking and threatening to implode, but we find our discussions and so forth oblivious to these major tremors.

I think David would agree. It's time to be awake, have our wicks trimmed, an abundance of oil and no trust in either the economic systems of this world nor put trust in any earthly Princes, present or to come.

Tomorrow at sunset is Rosh Hashanah and Oct 8 begins Yom Kippur. A good time to focus more prayer toward those things that concern our GOD and the souls of men, in the event of major events of any type. A time to have that true burden for this entire world and plead for men in the perilous days that are at the doorstep.
We pray for Jerusalem, but know as Art Katz has taught what will happen and what our burden should be.
The wise virgins had this wisdom that David wrote of.
True shalom is found only under the shadow of The Almighty, The Messiah.

Thank you Sis.
