I agree that when we get a glimpse of the glory of God, the only appropriate place is in prosternation. There is no place for boasting, except in the Lord.(1)
Indeed, we who have been transformed by the will and power of God find that His arm is not too short that it cannot save.(2) In Christ, we are indeed new creatures; the old has passed, and behold, all things have become new!(3) Our heart of stone has been replaced with a heart that responds to God.(4) Our old master, "sin", has been replaced by our new master, "Christ".(5) And all this is the work of God, to the glory of His Name.(6)
That is why we come into the light, so that the works of God in us might be clearly revealed, to the glory of His Name.(7)
So we can say, "Not I, but the Lord working IN ME".(8)

After the WOE was LO, with God cleansing him (verse 7). God cleansed him when he realized his uncleaness. His sin was taken away and purged from his heart. God took his sin away! That is holiness of heart. God then said to GO. Isaiah said, Here am I; send me.

What was this work or blessing?
It cannot be pardon or regeneration as Paul says Abraham, Jacob, David, and countless multitudes were called God's children. "These all died in the faith," says Paul.

That's why the Church has lost the fear of GOD and discernment between Scriptural "good and evil" and have become so slack when dealing with sin in the Church - because we sliced and diced up the New Testament and pull the verses that we prefer rather than eating the whole scroll.
Heb 5:12-14 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

I believe it to be an OT example of the NT blessing of entire sanctification/baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Humbling to think about, don't you think? Make me feel like hiding my head in the sand because I feel so unworthy, but that is not what God wants from his children. Hiding our head in the sand makes us oblivious to the will of God; instead "we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." 2Cor. 3:18 NASB. Ahhh, now we understand, do we not?
