Think of what this man is missing out on. Or maybe he isn't. Maybe he's found something more than you and I have yet found, even as Christians: absolute surrender to the will of God. A joyful embracement of whatever God has for him. So often, we feel justified in griping about the inconveniences and difficulties we live with. But it's the mind of Christ that says, Not my will but Thine be done.

It's powerful to see this man's life and it causes me, especially as an American, to rethink the way our culture teaches us to think. Because any way you live life, as long as it brings glory and honor to God, is GREAT.

Depth of character and perseverance of courage are good--we all need that. People say, How can he love God? They have so many questions about this man, you know. CHRIST IS THE ANSWER!!
