Having read this morning two specific posts, it would be neglectful not to examine the similar content of each, and the condition of what they represent. When a brother from Africa makes an appeal to the church in America to cease and desist in it's export abroad of a corrupted gospel as well one that has been tainted by the culture, we have reached a most desperate and critical juncture. It is not a plea to America but rather a plea to the church in America. it is an indictment of what the church has become. So it begins. What had only been a concern of future possibility. America will send missionaries to Africa, while Africa will send Prophets to America. Is this not a pitiful condition we find ourselves in . We can no longer just say things are not as they should be. They are not and neither are we.

We should expect upon these shores, those who will bring the pure and undefiled word that will cut the church to the quick. We should also expect to receive back, from those falsely converted abroad, our fair share of false teachings and uncharacteristic lifestyles that they will bring with them when they immigrate and which will only serve to further the current decline. They will bring with them all the trimmings of what we sowed abroad in the flesh of man's gospel. A gospel that we so graced them with in our zeal for evangelism. We can look forward to the prophets that will be sent and who will shame us in the decadence and shallowness of what has become religion bearing the name of Christ.

If we shall not take our warnings from abroad then maybe we can harken to the cries of our sisters in the faith. They are begging the brothers around them to devote themselves to the God they profess. To take the lead and rise up in the order God has created both in Spirit and Creation. They shame us in their heart for God's truths.

What does it mean to be shamed by our American sisters and our African brothers? We cannot miss the sign that God is showing us. Is it not enough that he sends one messenger, but now He sends two? It is a graceful action on His part that He would provide us such warnings.?

I would rather say something edifying and positive this morning but these two posts I read this morning seem to speak in unison to the condition I have neglected to see. It does seem the chicken has come to roost. Excuse me if I have been blind to this until now. I have seen things that have been most grievous regarding religion in the church, but when one stands back to look at a macro view of what is happening, the smaller parts form a larger picture. These pleas have come by way of our very own brothers and sisters in the faith, how then can we neglect such qualified and earnest warnings?

The LORD GOD Bless you, watch over you and give you strength.

How can one NOT notice the condition of things of late?

I don't need to see what threads this brother saw. I've been praying [along with other women] that we could possibly get into the Deeper things of Christ because of the late hour we're in.
The threads of late have been so shallow - it's as if we think that judgment is 100 yrs away.
I've never felt it helped to say anything negative about the threads here and posted as much not long ago to another brother - but now it's come to where I'm going to eat my own words.

Here we are, surrounded by the men who gave their lives for GOD and are now in Heaven and what on earth are we talking about on some of these threads?

We're here to pray for a true revival.
We're here to get into the DEEPER things of GOD and to realize that we're not ready to face what's on it's way.
We don't even understand what it means to die-to-self or how to walk in the Spirit ... things that are absolutely necessary if we're going to make it to the end.
If we wanted to come here for small talk - we should have gone to one of those hundreds of carnal 'christian' forums.

I don't need to see which threads this Brother meant. I see junk talk here more than ever in the 6 yrs I've been viewing SermonIndex. Trivial nonsense. Makes me wonder how people will ever get through persecution or the losses that are coming.
Will we Ever "turn the world upside down" - as the first church was said to have done?

I saw this Brother's thread this morning as GOD saying - "I've heard the prayers of my daughters" and I just Praised GOD!
We're tiring of shallow nonsense. We need the deeper things of GOD. GOD help us to see that!

I think it would help to know which thread are being talked about. I do agree that some topics turn into endless debates but not all do.

There are a some that have been posted in the last 24 hours that have helped me greatly.

Those were the first two threads that came to my mind when I read Brother Lylewise's post this morning.


Yes, there are some threads that have blessed me as well in the last 24 hours - Needless to say -- But my take on what our Brother is saying is not the focus on "which threads" but what he's bringing forth is something / a message, that some of us have been praying for, for some time now and are praying now that nothing robs that from his post - Or as I see it - what GOD intended by and for his post.
There's a message in what he wrote that can easily be missed it appears.

I posted from a wrong and sinful heart earlier and for that I am very sorry. I was about to do so again when Father showed me the attitudes of my heart were not as they should be and my actions were not what He would have of me either.
