Eritrean Christians Finding No Escape From Persecution

Eritrean Christians fleeing persecution in their homeland are facing imprisonment, torture, beatings and sexual assault in Egypt, reports Barnabas Fund.

The charity, which supports the persecuted church worldwide, estimates that hundreds of Eritrean Christian refugees have been subjected to terrible abuse after arriving in Egypt.

Egypt is the most popular destination for Christians escaping from Eritrea, one of the most hostile countries in the world for followers of the faith.

It is heartbteaking to read these reports. We must keep these precious saints in prayer.

We can't even picture what our Brothers and Sisters are going through.
We know this is just the beginning, in the sense of Jesus' Words in Matt 24.

Amen, let's find ourselves praying for these, His children.
They'll be under His Throne before we will and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

I believe that the New Age-ish Globalists will finally decide that beheading is more "humane", in time... it appears from Rev 20:4.

Wherever there's been "unrest" in all of these countries over there - there's been genocide and persecution of Christians. The "unrest" makes the News to cover for what's happening to our Brothers and Sisters --- just as there has been talk that that is how it will go for us here.

Personally, I can't wait to meet them all, in His Presence.

In the meantime - Christ have mercy on them all.
Strengthen their faith, and ours, in You Oh LORD of Glory and Truth.
