"The Mind of Jesus" - Is it worth reading?

Is anyone familiar with a book called ”The Mind of Jesus” by William Barclay? Is it worth reading?

I am familiar with other writings of William Barclay. He was a very popular theologian with a great ease of expression. Some of his information can be very interesting but you need to keep in mind that he was not an evangelical; he did not believe in the virgin birth nor the physical resurrection of Christ from the dead.

I would say read it but keep these things in mind. If you come across anything that disturbs you post it here and we can talk it over.

I took a look at our UK Amazon and the reader comments might be worth reading. Click here

Ahh yes the Blue Letter bible is a great resource site!
http://www.blueletterbible.org/

It has alot of great audio expostional teachings from many Calvary Chapel speakers and really the strong point is the ease of use for the bible search and the linking commentaries and lexicons. The Blue Letter bible school is free I believe too and is what brother dohzman is referring to.

Well that's a bit disturbing...

Though I have heard his name prior was not aware of this nor this either:

I AM A CONVINCED UNIVERSALIST by William Barclay

Interesting this has been coming up lately, had stumbled upon what I thought was a rather good site a little while back and as I perused the suspicion became more and more clear even though it wasn't overt, actually would say that it seemed to be purposefully hidden. Had to do some digging to find out that it was indeed Universalism that was being adhered to.

Universalist? OK... :-?

Then I think there are quite a few books on my list that I will read before that one. My dad happened to have a copy, that's why I wondered. Thanks for the help anyway.

It's really great just being able to go online and ask any kind of questions and get such helpful answers. :-) This place is a blessing.
