About Chaplins;I have served in the Military for over twenty years, and have dealt with Chaplins from time to time. I have recieved good, life altering Christian counceling, both on a spiritual and personal nature. I will say that it is a special calling to serve in the Military as a Chaplin. I am sooo very thankfull for the Chaplins who Serve the one true God. They do at time have to deal with muslims or wicans or buddist or others of a "differant faith or belief system". However, they direct the practitioner to a Chaplin of like mind set. I have talked to Catholic, Protistant, Baptist, Lutheran, and Episcipal back-ground Chaplins. They all seamed to have a grace about them that allowed for "Doctrinal" differances and yet maintain a Jesus and Him Crusified common thread that binds all the believers togather. If it is in your heart, the Military needs MEN and WOMAN of GOD to minister to the Soldier. A Chaplin becomes uniquely qualified for the task.
If you don't mind me asking, can you become a "single detonation" Chaplin.
