Re: Scary surveillance in the US - 3

Jesus-is-God,

I am not hiding from these scary things out there in the world nor am I telling anyone else to hide from them but if watching these things puts fear in ones heart and then that person DWELLS on that fear, all I’m saying is that that is not of God.

I must have hit a nerve with you on this!! (big grin) I don’t know how many times I have to type this out before you will read it completely and comprehend it. I cannot type out every nuance of what I’m trying to say about this... that is the limitation of “typing.”

JiG, if you want to go visit these “right” websites and get your information from them, have at it!! I did not say anything is wrong with anyone for doing that. Praise God you have a wonderful witnessing tool with all this! God bless you for it.

Please KNOW and realize that I can be watchman (as well) WITHOUT going to any of those “right” websites. The Holy Ghost is my Watchman and tells me how to watch. So, you know what? I’ll watch my way and you watch your way! How much more simpler can it get? :)

This must be addressed.....

Quote:
Only unsaved men's hearts will fail them for fear and those who have been playing ostrich for far too many years.

I know this is Christmas Eve and all, but that is just not in Scripture. Jesus didn’t elaborate that only “unsaved” men’s hearts would fail them; Luke 21.26.

Again, God bless you,
Lisa

PS: I’m bowing out of this conversation.

 Re:

Just one clarification. I don't go to websites to get 'my information'.

Edit: We'll just have to agree to disagree with 'who's' hearts will be failing them for FEAR.

His Peace to you as well

 Re:

I love this verse ~

Dan 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he (antiChrist) corrupt by flatteries:
but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Amen

fromtheold, Please don’t waste anymore of your precious time on watching that stuff; it takes our eyes off of Christ and puts our eyes on the craziness of the world. If you think it crazy or scary now, it’s going to be more so in a few more years if the Lord tarries. Hopefully by that time we will have trained our hearts and minds off of these things of the world and onto listening to the Holy Spirit. Remember, He is our guide and will lead us into all truth! Amos 3.7 tells us, “surely the lord GOD does nothing, without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.” “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusts in Thee.” Isaiah 26.3 God bless you, Lisa

I did not post this to put fear in people. I just wanted to share something i thought was a bit weird or scary. Not to take your minds from Christ but just to share something.

Some of us are called to be watchmen, to warn others, to keep our eyes and ears open.

Ezekiel 33.

3If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

4Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

 Re:

I also think we should educate ourselves on matters like these. Dont fear but at least know what is happening around you.

Did not Jesus's parents take him to another country? Why?

"And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:"

Obviously this was also to fulfill a prophecy but they fled into Egypt.

Jesus commanded us to watch:

"For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."

 Re:

I knew from the last line in your post fromtheold that you weren't "scared" but was already acquainted with terms and by the fact that you live in S. Africa, you've seen what "scared" is. That's one country that has seen more than my mind can even wrap itself around and the one that GOD has laid on my heart to pray for the most. Genicide is all I think of when thinking of Africa. Necklacing - hunger, etc. etc. my heart goes out to the inhabitants there more than I can say. Eventually, we'll all see the same, but in the mean time ....

When I got home last night from doing what I moved here for, I did not have the disposition to be answering the words above, but I feel I must now.

Lisa, using the words "hit a nerve" & "big grin" was totally out of place here.

The only thing you "hit" in me was my heart for Anyone or Anything that ever has to deal with "fear". I seem to run 'to' the fearful, whether it's a child or even just an animal. Perfect Love casts out all fear.

Growing up the way I did & through my adult life - what I've been through - I've found that it is never wise to run from anything that causes fear. Even if it's just the fear of flying or driving, etc - instead just hit it 'head on.'

You mentioned 'dwelling on it' - That is when one should go to The LORD immediately and read His Word instead and pray until He speaks to that fear ---- not run from the things that we all hear at one time or another, whether we like it or not.
Regardless of the cause of fear - never run from it, but head right into it with The LORD and that is what "hit" my heart from my own live's experiences. Fear hath torment and it's never solved by running away. Jesus said, "When I return will I find Faith?"
It breaks my heart with empathy/compassion, more than you'll know, to see fear in any of His Creation and find no reason for that big-grin in reply to what I wrote.

Perfect Love casts out all fear and we can begin by Loving one another here.
