"then his master shall bring him to God, then he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost. And his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him permanently." (Exodus 21:6)Jesus took the form of man, in the form of a servant, humbled himself, and was obedient, even to death on a cross. He was nailed to the cross as the servant of all. He served us in paying the penalty for our sin, providing us with victory over sin and death. He serves permanently always making intercession in heaven. Paul was a slave of Christ. He was nailed to the tree with Jesus and was a servant who esteemed others more highly then himself. We serve one another in love, forgiving others as Christ forgave us. We willingly become a slave of Christ thereby becoming a slave of all in love and humility. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.
