2 I was mute with silence, I held my peace even from good; And my sorrow was stirred up.3 My heart was hot within me; While I was musing, the fire burned...9 I was mute, I did not open my mouth, Because it was You who did it.~ Ps. 39I believe He dries up the rivers of our words from time to time, a spiritual Zechariah season as it were. It is good to be still before Him, even if that means our days our filled with less talk.

Blessings brother,

Quite often actually, and in those times I usually say nothing. :-)

The greatest times that I ever have are when I just sit quietly in the presence of the King knowing that He knows me inside and out......including all of my needs, wants, desires, hurts, failures, and that unquenchable desire to just know Him and see His face.I remember hearing Leonard Ravenhill saying something about praying and worshiping in English until you have run out of word...then in Spanish (or whatever earthly languages that we know...and then in tongues just the same. Eventually, you run out of words to express or describe the goodness of God. At that time, you just bask in that indescribable peace that passes all understanding. Thanks for the reminder, Neil!:-)
