Joshua 5.9:
And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day

The word Gilgal which means wheel or rolling has a numerical value of 3+30+3+30 = 66. The bible has 66 books.

Gilgal was named for the location where God removed the reproach of Egypt on the 1st passover in the land of Canaan. Of course Christ removed the penalty of our sins on a later passover. The bible is the sword or wheel that hits us when we are convicted of sin and then forgiveness.

Proverbs said that the wise king scatters evil with his wheel.

Pro 20:26 A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them.

I believe that Richard's web site, is a fantastic Biblical reference tool. I have found specific answers, that I could not find at Strongs Concordance, or similar tools, which Biblewheel.com held the researched answer, fully.

I hope you visit the site. Numbers are all over the place. Anyone who was trying to make a number mean something that it doesn't mean in this particular scheme, would be well aware what they were doing.

I know exactly what you're concerned about, but you can make a Christian 'horoscope' out of a daily devotional if that's the attitude of your heart.

Yes, I agree and thanks for the warning. But what we are talking about here is not divination or numerology. We are talking about association that comes from looking at the Bible in a multi-dimensional way.

For instance spoke 22 on the Biblewheel, has Isaiah chapters 44 and 66 and the Book of Acts.

When you read
Isaiah 66 (vss. 14-15):

And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies. For, behold, THE LORD WILL COME WITH FIRE, and with his chariots LIKE A WHIRLWIND, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with FLAMES OF FIRE.

Now notice how Isaiah's says the Lord will come with FIRE. Now if you will please read with me from ACTS (vs. 2:3)

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of FIRE, and it sat upon each of them.

Do you see the comparison of fire being used here? Also Isaiah says he will come "like" A WHIRLWIND. Now read with me ACTS 2:2:


And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a RUSHING MIGHTY WIND, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Do you see the comparison here of a whirlwind and a mighty rushing wind, these two are the same thing? Lets read on even further to understand better. Back to Isaiah 66 (vs. 18):

For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather ALL NATIONS AND TONGUES; and they shall come, and see my glory.

Now read with me back to Acts (vs. 2:5):

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of EVERY NATION UNDER HEAVEN.

Do you see here where all nations and tongues were gathered? Do you notice the parallel of events that Isaiah prophecied would happen at Jesus's coming being fulfilled on the day of Pentecost? Now back to Isaiah 66 (vs. 19):

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

So, what you see here is nothing about numbers but rather rolling the bible up on a wheel (hebrew alphabet) and then observing patterns that naturally (supernaturally) fall into place.

What is amazing about this is no one could make this up and no one has changed the natural order of th 66 books.

Good warning and let's keep an eye out for what you are talking about. With all of us looking at this, we can be a check and balance to each other. This has been on the web for over 10 years and all I see are positive testimonies.

But since the original text of Scriptures had no capitalizations, punctuations, or numbers for the chapters or verses because it did not have chapter or verse divisions, but all this is the work of man to make the Bible easy to understand, there goes your science of numbers, with the whirlwind~~~~~~

The Biblewheel does not freak me out, because it is just an aid for Bible study to me. It proves the Protestant Canon was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Will not work at all with the 73 books of the Catholic Bible.

Even the Chapters and verses seem to be inspired from Richard's observations. Remember, there is no manipulation taking place. The Lord seems to be in every detail of writing His Word.

I did not know that Isaiah 66 syncs up with the 66th book of the Bible (Revelation). They happen to be on Cycle 3 of the 22nd spoke. I am just finding things faster than ever before. I am sure someone put this in some big theology book somewhere and this is probably a well known fact, already. But for someone visual like me who doesn't read theology books, it just popped right out.

Isa 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Isa 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

The numbers are 'in' the text, as each Hebrew and Greek letter has a numberical value ALREADY. These have not been added by the webdesigner. All he has done is draw attention to where numbers - sums and products mainly - re-emphasise MEANING which is ALREADY IN THE TEXT.

Alive, all these things do is create a thrill that may begin with healthy motives but it becomes consuming, and a bondage.

For example, many people love to study the Book of Revelation because it gives them the thrill of a mystey story like Star War or something like that.

I study it because I find in it the diety of Christ portrayed, the heavenly city in which righteousness dwells, and the end of a falling world that every true follower of God looks for.

Satan is a crafty serpent that does not mind that our time be consumed on what we think a good cause, but all of a sudden, our prayer life is neglected.


Even as I post here sometimes, I realize that the enemy can use that to take away my time with God.
