 Social Justice

Without God, there can be no justice- just us. Because naked humanity is the quintessence of selfishness.

'naked humanity is the quintessence of selfishness'.

'I long for the LORD'S return because HE will establish righteousness and justice and bring peace!! MARANATHA!!'

Didn't that 'return' happen when He ascended back to heaven and the promise of the Father was sent to (all) His waiting disciples?

Don't we have to LET Him RULE in our HEARTS through His Spirit in us, to be free from 'naked' 'selfishness'?

1 John 4

11 Beloved, if thus did God love us, we also ought one another to love; 12 God no one hath ever seen; if we may love one another, God in us doth remain, and His love is having been perfected in us; 13 in this we know that in Him we do remain, and He in us, because of His Spirit He hath given us. 14 And we--we have seen and do testify, that the Father hath sent the Son--Saviour of the world; 15 whoever may confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God in him doth remain, and he in God; 16 and we--we have known and believed the love, that God hath in us; God is love, and he who is remaining in the love, in God he doth remain, and God in him. 17 In this made perfect hath been the love with us, that boldness we may have in the day of the judgment, because even as He is, we--we also are in this world; 18 fear is not in the love, but the perfect love doth cast out the fear, because the fear hath punishment, and he who is fearing hath not been made perfect in the love; 19 we--we love him, because He--He first loved us; 20 if any one may say--`I love God,' and his brother he may hate, a liar he is; for he who is not loving his brother whom he hath seen, God--whom he hath not seen--how is he able to love? 21 and this [is] the command we have from Him, that he who is loving God, may also love his brother.

Romans 8

2 for the law of the Spirit of the life in Christ Jesus did set me free from the law of the sin and of the death; 3 for what the law was not able to do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, His own Son having sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, did condemn the sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who are according to the flesh, the things of the flesh do mind; and those according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit; 6 for the mind of the flesh [is] death, and the mind of the Spirit--life and peace; 7 because the mind of the flesh [is] enmity to God, for to the law of God it doth not subject itself, 8 for neither is it able; and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God. 9 And ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God doth dwell in you; and if any one hath not the Spirit of Christ--this one is not His; 10 and if Christ [is] in you, the body, indeed, [is] dead because of sin, and the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness, 11 and if the Spirit of Him who did raise up Jesus out of the dead doth dwell in you, He who did raise up the Christ out of the dead shall quicken also your dying bodies, through His Spirit dwelling in you. 12 So, then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh; 13 for if according to the flesh ye do live, ye are about to die; and if, by the Spirit, the deeds of the body ye put to death, ye shall live; 14 for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;

Young's Literal Translation

I thank God for His written word and those to whom He entrusted it.

I was speaking of the coming of the LORD
to reign in righteousness over HIS kingdom
and there will be justice and peace for
HIS people!!

 Re:

I think you are both right.

WITHOUT GOD, we can do nothing.

WITH GOD, all things are possible. The fullness of which Sojourner was pointing to(Revelation 21:3-4).

The qoute was speaking about the ambition of secular humanisim, and the hope of its philosophy.

Psalm 60:11
