"And Abraham removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and Hai on the east: and there he built unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord." Gen 12:8.

"And Abraham removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built an altar there unto the Lord." Gen 13:18.

"And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play." Ex 32:6. (Insincere worship)

"As the Lord spoke unto Aaron, saying, Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with them, when they go up into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest you die: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations: And that ye may put a difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean." Lev 10:8-10 (The Lord told the Apostle Paul that there was nothing unclean of itself: Rom 14:14: It was nailed to the cross.)

"And all Israel that were around about them fled at the cry of them that went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed in on them: and they perished from the congregation: Lest the earth swallow us up also. And there came a fire from the Lord and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense." Num 16:34,35.

"And it came to pass when David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out singing and dancing, to meet King Saul with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of music." 1 Sam 18:6.

"AND DAVID DANCED BEFORE THE LORD WITH ALL HIS MIGHT; and David was girded with a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouting and the sound of the trumpet. "Thou has turned my mourning into dancing: Thou has put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness." Ps 30:11.

"Let us praise the Lord with the dance: let them sing praise unto Him with the timbrel and harp." Ps 149:3.

"Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs." Ps 150:4.

"A time to weep and a time to laugh: a time to mourn, and a time to dance." Ecc 3:4.
