He's Aaron's Rod that budded

Something for the rememberance of our tradition/observance of Resurrection Day.

"And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds."

Numbers 17:8(KJV)

Our Lord Jesus, He's as Aaron's rod that budded, showing to all of us that were rebels, both jews and gentiles, whom we should hear.

Mat 17:5, Acts 3:22, Romans 1:4

If anyone still knows how, I have a picture that I took today that I wish I could post with this. I know you used to be able to post pictures also.

 Re:

You used to be able to include a photo from the web by using (img) and (/img) commands with the url in between (but with brackets instead of parentheses). For instance, this is an image from the SermonIndex podcast page at iTunes:

However, you could also simply use a free web service (like ImageShack or Photobucket) to upload the image and then simply include the link here.

I hope this helps.

 Re:

Chris, that was very helpful brother, thank you!

I related in a request for prayer just now how there was a large group of people out tonight, dressed as zombies and horrifying gore, apperantly in order to mock the Lord Jesus and His resurrection.

It was enough to make you cry.

I thought then of dedicating a song to our Lord Jesus, which has been a song of prayer for me. As often as people may blaspheme our Lord Jesus, we may praise Him. As often as they may hate Him in ignorance, may we shower Him with love.

More Love to Thee, O Christ

words by Elizabeth P. Prentiss,

More love to Thee, O Christ, more love to Thee!
Hear Thou the prayer I make on bended knee.
This is my earnest plea: More love, O Christ, to Thee;
More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

Once earthly joy I craved, sought peace and rest;
Now Thee alone I seek, give what is best.
This all my prayer shall be: More love, O Christ to Thee;
More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

Let sorrow do its work, come grief or pain;
Sweet are Thy messengers, sweet their refrain,
When they can sing with me: More love, O Christ, to Thee;
More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

Then shall my latest breath whisper Thy praise;
This be the parting cry my heart shall raise;
This still its prayer shall be: More love, O Christ to Thee;
More love to Thee, more love to Thee!
