”We know that by His divine law, nations...are subject to punishments... in this world.

I watched the Youtube post of Pat and his comments on Haiti. As you know Secular and Christians agree and disagree about his comments. In the past when any disaster hits, CBN and Operation Blessing is there with Tractor Trailer Rigs packed with food supplies and medicine. CBN also has a flying medical and dental operating room that flies in response to emergency needs and humanitarian needs. Do you know who is responsible for the concept of operation blessing, the flying hospital and many other good things that CBN does... Pat Robertson. Also Mr. Robertson is an entrepreneur who makes money from developing goods and services that people purchase. He built the Family Channel to have wholesome TV programming and to make money. Which he does and helps people with it. And people hate him.

As far is Haiti is concerned, with all our knowledge and teaching there is in this generation concerning God and His Word, why do Christians still do not understand how God deals with nations on this earth.. He deals with them just like He did in His Word. On April 30 1863, Abraham Lincoln issued a day of prayer and fasting to God for America, as you read the quote you realize that even 147 years ago Lincoln understood how God deals with nations yet today in all of our Christian Bible knowledge you still got “Christians” saying how dare Pat Robertson say such a thing”. God doesn’t judge nations! I say what Bible are you reading . Furthermore, you got ask to your self, when will America be shook again?

We know the people did do what Lincoln asked. On May 3rd 1863 the South’s General who had been whipping on us at will, Stone Wall Jackson was accidentally shot by his own men and he was dead by May 10th 1863. At Gettysburg in July 1863 the North gained the advantage and the Bloody Civil War was over by April of 1865. At least a million dead and the South destroyed. In America today, are we piling up a judgment that is in the caliber of that of the Civil War? Maybe we need to think about that to motivate us to plead to God for country and how we have sinned against Him as the Church, and since we have been out of sorts, God has allowed the Godless to patiently and systematically take over our country, our institutions, our media that creates the reality for the people, and to defile us and lead us down a path “into” God’s Judgment.

1948 Separation of Church and State

1963 Prayer and Bible reading taken out of the schools by a lone atheist or 3% of the population

1973 Roe Vs Wade legalization of abortion 45 million and counting

1980 Ten commandments stricken from school rooms

”We know that by His divine law, nations...are subject to punishments... in this world. May we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war which now desolates the land may be a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole people? We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven; we haven been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity; we have grown
in number, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own.... we have become to self-sufficient to feel the necessity of
redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us. It behooves us, then, to humble ourselves before the offended power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness. All this done in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the divine teachings, that the united cry of the nation will be heard on high, and answered with blessings no less than the pardon of our national sins, and the restoration of our now divided and suffering country to its former happy condition of unity and peace”. Abraham Lincoln April 30th 1863

May God grant us Revival!

 Re:

I suspect the reason Christians want to deny that God had any hand in this earthquake is because we all fear his chastisement. The WORD says that if we are His, he will chastise us. Hebrews 12:5-11.

To those who would argue that God was not involved in this, I would like to ask you a question: are you an agnostic who believes that God made the universe, set certain laws in motion then sat back and let nature take it course? One who does not interfer with nature?

No, I do not see in the scripture where God hates Haiti as such, but does hate evil - wherever it is found- and will do whatever it takes to bring about repentance. Revelation 9 speaks of many calamities that God ordained and was for the express purpose to get people to repent but according to Revelation 9:21 it did not succeed. Seems to me we are seeing the mercy of God in operation during these events by removing their security so there would be nothing left but to trust Him. This is an ongoing process all over the world, some are just much more dramatic then others.

Blessings,
ginnyrose
