the sermon by him called almost christian is suppose to be real good.
I think Giggles is looking for some sort of biographical message about John Wesley?I haven't come across any that focus in on the life of John Wesley...Although John Piper has done many great biographies on the reformed preachers of old.

Yea was looking for more biographical. I know Ravenhill name-drops him a lot, but I was hoping for something more consolidated. Piper hasn't done Wesley; I did check. Thanks though IWA.
J.C. Ryle has a chapter on him in his book Christian Leaders of the 18th Century. Not sure if it is available online or not.

See "A Real Christian: The Life of John Wesley" by Kenneth Colins. Colins is the foremost scholar today on Wesley, and in my opinion, you will find nobody who better understands the man and his theology. He also has numerous footnotes in his works, which will keep any student of Wesley busy for years to come.
