 Religious illiteracy alarms educators

Religious illiteracy alarms educators

http://www.nationalpost.com/news/story.html?id=2061004

Perhaps, Churches teaching self-help theology instead of the Bible? Maybe two generations of parents who have been raised on 'don't give a flip if it don't feel good'?

Hosea 4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Repent for the Day of the Lord is at hand,
white stone

White_Stone -- this is a powerful word indeed, and we know that God's word is true - let God's word be true and every man a liar. Has God not written his law in our hearts, and if so and some how we have forgotten, is not his Spirit that dwells within us faithful to remind us, wheather it be a dream or a vision of his knowledge, and how do we gain knowledge is it not by his teachings and those he has called as priest?

Funny, that i would come on TODAY, after weeks of being in bible school.

If we truly understood what the day of the Lord is at hand, meant, we would have repented, before being told too.

This is an Amazing thread.
