"And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt."- Exodus 3:3(KJV) "And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcass of the lion."- Judges 14:8(KJV)Hi everyone. Tonight as I was riding home on the bus there was a paper on the seat nearby with an offensive picture on the page. It happened that I had just been talking with a man about prayer and not being distracted while praying, before I had left to catch the bus.I decided to turn the paper over to the other side. The image was offensive because of how flippant it was about evil. A short time later a wind or breeze from somewhere blew the pages of the paper open to another image and I thought it needed to be covered up also from anyone seeing it.This time I decided to pick the paper up and throw it on the floor with the other trash in front of me.A short time later a man came and sat down in the seat that the paper had been occupying. He had another newspaper with him and it too was offensive because of it's title.Without a doubt the world around us is distracting. For some of us it is worse than others, but we all have to deal with distractions. So how do we do that? How do we avoid the bad distractions and catch the good ones?I certainly do not have all the answers. But my suspicion is, that it has more to do with what's within, than what is without.Wish you all well,ChrisPhp 4:8, 3:13-14, Ps 27:4
