All of the contents of the building were either burned or stolen, including musical instruments, books and carpets. Believers had been meeting in the facility for almost 40 years, and there was an understanding that they could continue to meet freely. The attack happened at a time when the fellowship was growing rapidly. While no one was hurt, local Christians are shaken, and the future of the church is uncertain. Christian leaders will meet with those responsible for the attack in an effort to reach an agreement. Tensions have been rising in Nepal following the recent execution of 12 Nepalese citizens by Islamic militants in Iraq.Mosques have been attacked in the country in retaliation for the deaths, but Christians also have faced threats as the Christian West is seen as ultimately responsible for events leading up to this situation. From the news flow at Intercessors Network
