Consider The Lord Jesus Christ.
Heb 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling,
consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ
12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against
himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
1.Consider His humility.
Phil 2:2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of
a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and
became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name
which is above every name:
2. Consider His obedience.
Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things
which he suffered;
3. Consider His Characters.
Heb 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless,
undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice,
first for his own sins, and then for the peoples: for this he did
once, when he offered up himself.
4. Consider His piety/Zeal
John 2:2:14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves,
and the changers of money sitting:
2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all
out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the
changers money, and overthrew the tables;
2:16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make
not my Fathers house an house of merchandise.
2:17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine
house hath eaten me up.
5. Consider His faithfulness.
Heb 3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was
faithful in all his house.
6. Consdier His Minsitries.
Mark 10:10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to
minister, and to give his life a ransom for many
7. Consider His teachings/Doctrines,.
(a)Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither
have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more
are ye better than the fowls?
(b)Luke 12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and
yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these.
(c) Matthew 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brothers eye, but
considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
