Seehttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/7898972.stmI am not condoning homosexuality and I do think it is a sin and have no problem saying so, but I think they are just counter-productive in their way promoting gay-harrasment rather than expounding God's word. This is just as much the devil's work. These guys will help to turn the heat on those who preach the gospel.
Never heard of this play until now, and I live in England. The thing is, it could easily have passed unnoticed, but they have drawn attention to it.Plus, the media always hypes up the situation to sell the story. However the word of God does tell us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves, Matt 10v16.Even without this group doing as they are doing, the homosexuals aready are judged, as are others, because some will have to mention that. But, you are right, we need to simply preach the word.God bless.
quote: ...but I think they are just counter-productive in their way promoting gay-harrasment rather than expounding God's word. This is just as much the devil's work. These guys will help to turn the heat on those who preach the gospel. This approach is indeed counter to the patterns we find in Scripture. Where is the message of hope? Where is the gospel? Where is the love of Christ? Where is the message of redemption? Where is the way of deliverance? Where is the humility?"And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God." (1Cor6:11)
You know what? This is sick. I think the tee-shirt that the person is wearing in the picture is a travesty to God... a blight on Christianity. I don't blame them for kicking them out. If preachers pounded the pulpit and spit more on the "sin" of men beating their wives, porn, adultery, gossiping, murdering with words, lying, exaggerating the truth, etc., we wouldn't have to worry about being kicked out of countries. Just another thought, the "world" didn't kill Jesus, it was the religious leaders of the day. When the religious leaders begin to plan our demise, (woo hooo) I believe THAT's truly when we should begin rejoicing! But what do I know? It's just my two cents. :-P
Personally, I think it can only help our ministry to the homosexual communities in this country to not have 'preachers' like this in the country. I'm happy they're band.
