How did Jesus view the world?

Hi, I'm looking for ideas on a presentation im doing with people @ my church.

The presentation is gonna be a three day thing, and my group is presenting on how Jesus viewed the world. Looking for some ideas on how to do this (Power point presentations, messages, songs, plays, etc.)

Also some verses in that show Jesus' viewpoint on the world.

Matthew 14 is a good place to start. Especially Mat 14:14. Luke 7:13. While Christ knew the sins of men, the scriptures consistently reveal His compassion and willingness to serve, heal, and save them.

Re: How did Jesus view the world?

Lord how do you want me to view the world? often leads us to examine how Jesus viewed the world?
And as we seek the Lord personally for an answer the Lord reveals these things to us. And it is what we ourselves have set to follow that will bring forth life as we share it with others.
So at the end of the day, we want to help the Lord to change us and our viewpoint and anoint us such that we can liberate others who are trapped as once we were.
I am just stating something which you probably know already and are pursuing.

Well in prayer, seeking the anointing go ahead and God will reach and touch.

Some thoughts.
Try to have activities after lunch as these are the less attentive times.
Try not to make sessions last more than one hour.
Have ice breakers and group sharing time so that even the timid ones can confess what they have gained and their hope.
Maybe have a questions box available and made known from the begining.
Have godly elders available to tackle sensitive doubts and questions.

The word of God says what is great in the eyes of men is an abomination before God.
You coud device some plays in this regard.
eg: mans prsuit of fame and power, for the much sought after promption in the job, to always get something back, the love of money, etc.

You could also have some generic time for short cliping. I would suggest The Revival Hymn

Often we are unable to see the world as we ought to becuase we have not seen what Christ did for us and His love for us as we ought to.
Often we have not surrendered ourselves to Christ completely and hence we are unable to see the world as a disciple.
So maybe this could also be a foundational session.

World as in John 3:16
and world as in 1Co 7:31 And they who use this world are as not abusing it, for the fashion of this world is passing away.

How the world is currently reacting, the anxiety and the fact based fear vs. Jesus outlook on the Sermon on the mount.
The morality of the world vs. the sermon on the mount.

The Gospel or the goodnews is that Jesus can help us get victory over our sin. He has overcome the world and in HIM we can walk in HIS victory each day of our life.

These are just a few of my thoughts. Hope it helps.
Above all seek the Lord and the anointing of the Holy Spirit and God will bless you amidst your fraility and weakness. Bless you and make you a blessing.
