Sorry to say I am off the web for at least a while due to a "missing or corrupt windows file". I would appreciate prayer - direction wisdom how to proceed 1) fix, or take a break (wash dishes in a more timely fashion) or 2.) replace my 1999 computer with a linux system laptop, 3.) no loss of precious documents, 4.) a way to continue my weekly "encouragement to prayer" insert in my church bulletin. For me, being on the computer/web is like flying a jet plane with a bicycle license. :-) I can still occasionally use the local library timed web access, at one-hour/day, but not often. (I am so slow, I have 32 minutes left.)Confidence in GodJoan
I am praying sister :-)
If you can't get Windows fixed, im my opinion, Ubuntu or Xubunutu really is a good operating system. Xubuntu may be better in your case since it is built with the purpose of running on slower computers. With care in Christ,Taylor

In the Control Panel therewill be add/remove programs. Click on it.Scroll till you find the Internet Explorerprogram. There will be two options--changeor remove. Click change. There will be abox with two options--repair or remove. Tryrepair. This has fixed Internet Explorerproblems most of the time for me. ;-)
