Jehovah temporary rejected his people Israel for their many transgressions and their spiritual whordom acts commited with other gods while they were the bride of Holy God

Hosea Chpt-1
9. Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.

Lo-am'mi -not my people, a symbolical name given by God's command to Hosea's second son in token of Jehovah's rejection of his people (Hos. 1:9, 10), his treatment of them as a foreign people. This Hebrew word is rendered by "not my people" in ver. 10; 2:23.

God divorced Israel!

Hosea Chpt. 1-
10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
11. Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Holy God fulfilled His promise to Israel when He bought them off the auction block of spiritual whores along with us at Calvary.

Our Father has never divorced The House of David that brought forth A Son, The Son of The Living God that reigns incarnate in His people 24-7 around the world incarnate in millions of hearts of light, the Body of Christ Jesus..
