SORRY, You would think i would have known by now which forum to post in !Having just read the 'Articles' section here on SI,and the insertion of Adam Clarke's entire sanctification, I pose the above question for consideration. My heart leaps at the thought of the possibility of living this way.But can we this side of heaven?I take great courage from 1 John 2;1-2Quote:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Farther, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2 And he is the propitiationfor our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. My point being i know God has taken away the inevitability of sin.... IF any man sin, not WHEN any man sins

On the topic of sanctification here is another encouraging piece from Oswald Chambers: "The reason some of us have not entered into the experience of sanctification is that we have not realized the meaning of sanctification from God's standpoint. Sanctification means being made one with Jesus so that the disposition that ruled Him will rule us. Are we prepared for what the cost? It will cost everything that is not of God in us.""Are we prepared to be caught up into the swing of this prayer of the apostle Paul's? Are we prepared to say--"Lord make me holy as You can make a sinner saved by grace"?"1 Thes 5:23-24 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly.
