 Re:

Hi sister coffee...

I share your burden. I recently moved to California and I see such a decline in the Church and State. Having moved from Texas, I was immediately struck by the lack of influence of the Church (and righteousness in general) upon the people or the State in California.

California is ripe for a move of God. Why? It is dark. The light of a real revival can shine much clearer and further!

Dear Chris,

Thank you for your kind words...In reading the posts I see that you and your wife have moved into the SF area. I pray Wisdom and Grace upon you both.

 Re:

I have a very earnest question here and maybe someone can help me with it ....

Isaiah gave the prophecy of the coming of Jesus, but died and all those around him died too, before it came to pass ...and then it was what 700 years or so... not sure of the timing that it did finally came to pass....did that make Isaiah a false prophet in his day?

I'm serious about this..others prophets like Jeremiah, Daniel, prophecied and then died also..

Then on a different note we have the faithful in Hebrews having given a promise died never seeing the promise come to pass in their lifetime...wonder what was said and mocked of all of them...

Just a thought...

 Re:

Very likely Coffee, concerning your last question on the prophets.

I'm sure even Noah himself was mocked greatly as he warned and warned and yet no catastrophic flood. Hence, I'm sure many considered him false and stopped taking him seriously.

I personally believe Brother Wilkerson to be a reputable and sincere man of God. He has not carried people off into false doctrines and as the previous poster stated, he admitted to being influenced by fear. We see men of this manner stumble before us, but we get to do it privately and save face. I have learned not to place a time frame of my own to the things that the Lord has shown me and realise most importantly, He is not in a hurry. He really does want the world to repent and acknowledge Him as Lord.

I'm hoping for a last day remnant that will walk in excellence and power. I don't believe the Lord is done yet. Oh dear saints, what do you think those fiery trials are preparing us for?

May I say meekly, Praise God? :-)

Rev. Benjamin: "Shall we examine David Wilkerson's False prophecies before we get too excited here."

All that I can say is that you do not know David Wilkerson at all. I read the same book that you read during the 70'S and many of Brother Wilkersons prophetic words have come to past, and others are coming to past in the hour in which we live.

I praise God for Brother Wilkerson's life and ministry to the Body of Christ.

Mike

 Re:

Is the last day church in fact going to be greater than any other time? Not according to Revelation concerning the last church and rebuke to the Church of Laodicea. I also believe this too is in keeping with what Paul teaches about the great falling away of Apostasy. That warning is in 2 Timothy 3....Perilous times are coming. Please review 2 Thessalonians as well.

I'm sorry many of you are offended. However to grab a verse out of the OT and apply it to the NT Christian is no different then applying 2 Chronicles 7:14 to the Church. It just doesn fit.

Did Isaiah say it would happen in his day? If he did, then yes. However, he was just reiterating what was promised in Genesis 3:15.

These men, as all OT Saints who placed their faith in the redeemer, as did Abel, the first listed in Hebrews 11, acknowledged by their sacrifice and life of faith in the redeemer, did not die without receiving salvation. They died not receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit. They had to wait for US to receive perfection. ( Please read those scriptures carefully).

 Re:

Ezekiel 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

23And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

29I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

30And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

31Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

32Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

33Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.

34And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

35And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

36Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

37Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

38As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

This is yet to be fulfilled, the New Covenant promise to Israel..

When will this happen?
Romans 11:
25For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

28As concerning the gospel, they((ISRAEL)) are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.

You see, God never promised the CHURCH land.

God never called the Church Jacob.

Blessings,

R.G. Benjamin

 Re:

Dear KathleenP,

In this journey I might not have all the knowledge that a lot of people have, but one thing I have learned is that we are HUMAN ...go figure.

I will agree with you on your comments regarding Bro Wilkerson. In this dry wilderness called California ...I have found Times Square Church ...Pastor Carter Conlon to be an Oasis.

I will not go so far to lift any of these men up or defend them they don't need me. They have a Faithful God ...He will defend His own.

There are many men of God on this site, sermons, treasures that I have found, and I thank God everyday for SI. I don't post much ..no need.

But when I see what is happening around me and feel that God is about to defend His Holy Name sometimes I just have to say something!!!

Re: GOD IS ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING NEW AND GLORIOUS

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I need to post once again, on a roll here ...

My only sister in Alabama just emailed me in response to this article of Bro. Wilkerson that I forwarded to her. She is going to be in New York City for the first 2 weeks in November with her nursing job and wanted the address for Times Square Church !!!!

I am so thrilled about this, because my sister gave up on "church, pastors, family" when she walked in on her husband and the pastor's daughter in her bed. She had a 3 year old and a newborn ...when she went to church the following Sunday after confronting this matter with the Pastor, his daughter, and her husband the message was "If you could satisfy your spouse there would be no reason for them to stray" Needless to say she left the church. Her husband moved in with the pastor's daughter.....enough of that...

My mom and I have fed my sister tid bits here and there over the last 20 years, loving her and her children unconditionally knowing that she loved God but the wound had gone so deep she refused to trust ever again, therefore she never remarried nor went to church again.

God IS doing a Glorious work...I am going to ask all of you to please be in prayer as she said she is going to visit while there.

OH MY ......

Your Sister in Jesus
