The doctors have recommended surgery, which cannot be scheduled for several weeks, but in the meantime I am supposed to be doing some Physical Therapy. I thank God that some of the incessant pain has calmed somewhat and I am hoping that I can be a wiser man by avoiding some of the things that I know are bad on my back that led to this latest crisis.
Thank all of you again.

That is still my aim if at all possible... but it is an 8 hour drive away and riding is very hard on the back... but nothing is impossible with God, therefore I hope...
BTW, also grateful for these good folk from Louisiana that are a part of SI forum. It is a blessing to know that I am surrounded by such godly folk!!
