 Regarding Art Katz

Murrcolr,
I would not be wise to include Art Katz in your criticisms of IHOP and the CALL. In his last few years of life he actually grew quite fond of what the Lord is doing at IHOP. He spoke there on a few occasions, even stating that he had rarely bumped into a group of saints with such a quality. He was commending Bickle's "Passion for Jesus" book in his final days as well.

Art became a grandfather in the faith to me, and I was with him in MN just a few weeks before he passed. I have often run into brothers who were making critical comments of some of the same works that he commended, and I don't like to see his heart misrepresented. This is not to say that he agreed with everything that takes place in modern movements, but it would be wise not to use his words to support your views.

Regards,
BP
