I just became youth pastor at a church in Fort Cobb, a very small town in Oklahoma. Here in Oklahoma there is a southern baptist Camp called Falls Creek. I believe it is the largest youth camp in the world. (About 6,000 kids every week for 7 weeks.) I began desperately praying for salvation and for God to move on these students. Of the twenty four we took, we had 8 get saved, and 8 more repent of their sin and turn back to Jesus. I prayed that God's glory would be so great that it would have to be cloudy all week to keep his presence all week. And it was, in fact it rained almost every day. A rarity for Oklahoma in the middle of summer. I prayed specifically for rain on Wednesday evening and woke up to rain hitting our windows. Praise the Lord! This is a praise and a request for prayer. We have come back and face major warfare from the enemy. Alcohol and sports have a major hold on this town. Many people in the church think that church should not get in the way of sports. Please pray for us as we battle. I am praying that God will shut down the liquor store, and that the ballfields will be empty because people are praising the Father. Pray for my wife and I that we do it through His strength, and not get caught in the trap of programs and schemes. And just pray for salvation. That God will rock this town with His Salvation. My internet access is limited, just because there is not alot of access in the town. But I knew that you all would pray for me, and for the souls of these lost people. Thank you
