Revival History Question

Was there a revival in Scotland say between 1870-1910. I am looking for any reference to George Wallace Scott, an evangelist and singer (tenor) born in Glasgow, came to America. Was he born again in a revival there?

 Re: Revival History Question

You mean there have been no revivals?...no revivals...No revivals?...No Revivals...NO REVIVALS ?!?!!!! How can this be? How can this be? How can this be? OK - In that case then,

JOHN KNOX IT IS! John Knox who said “Give me Scotland or I die.", who neither flattered no feared any flesh, who saw a "move of God" and "free course to the Word of God.”

Will the Lord leave us orphans? John 17 and Psalms 9: 17 – 20

17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

Will the Lord leave us orphans and fatherless ? Lamentations 5
19 Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.
20 Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time?
21 Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
