How to get free of pastors grip

I have been mentally ill for 7 years now, after rebuking, kindly though the pastor, saying that they did something that might destroy people,he started taking a hard grip on me, so I had to leave.

since then they prayed against me, they believe they are in their right to do it, that is scarry, they are not servants at all.

I experiecned one night that all hell broke loose, God told me who and why, I cried out to God for an hour, but was destroyed in prayerlife for 2 days, it has gone down down ever since mentally.

I still believe he prayes against me, it is like being in prison, can some one please help me, tell me how I can get out, I want to live in what God has to me, did it before, had a mantel of many colors (joseph), I also believe that was the reason they wanted me out.

Philippians 2

Be Like Christ

1Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any (A)fellowship of the Spirit, if any (B)affection and compassion,

2(C)make my joy complete by (D)being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.

3Do nothing from (E)selfishness or (F)empty conceit, but with humility of mind (G)regard one another as more important than yourselves;

4(H)do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

5(I)Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in (J)Christ Jesus,

6who, although He (K)existed in the (L)form of God, (M)did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,

7but [a](N)emptied Himself, taking the form of a (O)bond-servant, and (P)being made in the likeness of men.

8Being found in appearance as a man, (Q)He humbled Himself by becoming (R)obedient to the point of death, even (S)death on a cross.

9(T)For this reason also, God (U)highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him (V)the name which is above every name,

10so that at the name of Jesus (W)EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of (X)those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is (Y)Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12So then, my beloved, (Z)just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your (AA)salvation with (AB)fear and trembling;

13for it is (AC)God who is at work in you, both to will and to work (AD)for His good pleasure.

14Do all things without (AE)grumbling or disputing;

15so that you will prove yourselves to be (AF)blameless and innocent, (AG)children of God above reproach in the midst of a (AH)crooked and perverse generation, among whom you (AI)appear as lights in the world,

16holding fast the word of life, so that in (AJ)the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not (AK)run in vain nor (AL)toil in vain.

17But even if I am being (AM)poured out as a drink offering upon (AN)the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all.

18You too, I urge you, rejoice in the same way and share your joy with me.

------

submission, love, humility are things God honors. Have a clear conscience to love and forgive everyone including a pastor.

 Re:

Dear Ole,
The truth will set you free.

This is about what you believe. The Lord is your defense, He is your shield, He is your fortress.

Nothing can separate you from the love of God. Nothing can snatch you out of His hand.

Condemnation, accusations, charges against you, unforgiveness, a hearts plea for justice or vindication, all these things can make you feel as if you are in prison and being oppressed. It is as if someone has pronounced sentence upon you and you are waiting for a trial. You are looking for God to make this right, to defend you, to release you by making them see the truth. Or if He would deal with them and stop them, you are crying out for justice.

The door to this prison is already opened, the enemy stands outside oppressing you with condemnation and thoughts that will keep you there. Lies about the pastor, a need to be publicly declared not guilty. You don't believe God is hearing your prayers because He has not come to your defense in this, the way you are needing Him to. Why hasn't He saved you?

Don't drink of the gall of bitterness any longer, the door is open.........Jesus is asking you do you want to be well? Let go of this, and forgive.................drink of the living water........let my grace wash over you.............I have declared you not guilty.....the trial was over at the cross...............

Let Him look upon your wounds with loving compassion.........He know what you have been through...............Look at Him , Keep your eyes on Him, and abide under His wing for their is healing in His wings.................He will speak life to you..........but you will have to let this go...............no vindication.............Just forgiveness...............He will minister to your brokenness......He will bind up your wounds until they are whole..........He is saying Come.......follow me out............I am the Good Shepherd.........I will lead to still waters, I will cause you to rest in green pastures...........I will restore your soul..............

In His Amazing Love,
Lowly
-------------------------------------------
Learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly of heart..........

Hi Ole,

When you say "mentally ill",has someone told you this or do you think scattered or confused thoughts?

I was also wondering, does this pastor talk to you or visit you?

Do you have contact with him?

 Re:

Hi psalm 1

Thanks for your reply

no, I had to break out, the pastor pushed me out.

I am not sure I would let him come, I dont want fellowship with people who in that way want to walk in darkness. I have forgiven him.

Re: How to get free of pastors grip

Hello, Ole,

You have had good counsel and for sure if you feel you have been ill for 7 years, you do need to receive healing from the Lord. I would like to suggest that while He can heal you all at once, there may be a process which is more stage-by-stage, so that your understanding can keep up with it, and you can establish in your own mind, the terms of reference of each kind of healing you receive.

It is very traumatic to be told by someone you trusted (your pastor), that he wants you destroyed.

If I may state the obvious, such an intention is very far from God's heart for anyone. In fact, it sounds either Pharisaical or occult.

Another obvious deduction would be to surmise that this pastor is not a Christian, if he and others are praying against you (if they are or did).

But, because of his title (and perhaps his age and knowledge of scripture), you have been inwardly submitted to him - which is one reason this situation has had power over you - although it need not.

Another thought\possibility, is that something in your own life\past, has made you vulnerable to his threats. I don't mean you are (necessarily) responsible for the existence of vulnerability within yourself (Who isn't vulnerable, when someone strikes below the belt?), but you are certainly now responsible to go to the Lord and let Him deal with it, because you are a Christian. You have to lay hold of the answer you need, directly from Him. He wants to help in whatever way you need, but, this doesn't mean you tell Him what the answer is... You tell Him the problem and He give you His answer.. These suggestions are not necessarily a linear progression (although they may be).

A sister here made a comment which you may find helpful to consider. She and several other saints were together facing challenging circumstances. They knew they had to pray and obey; they had to start somewhere. She felt they should just start with the biggest most obvious problem, and get on with bringing it to the Lord.... like, when there is a seal which says 'peel here'. She said it would be crazy to try to 'open' the container - to get into God's riches - by any other way, as it set themselves up for much frustration, wasted time and scuffed fingernails. ;-)

In every religious system, there are sacrifices. In worldly (or occult) systems, the sacrifice can be a person, or money, or something else which is valued by society (and therefore, they think, will please that god). For our God though, the only sacrifice with any power to change His mind, is the blood of Christ, the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world. His blood is more powerful than any other bloods or sacrifices, mustered up by the imaginations of unsaved men. By this blood, you are released from all sin, all guilt, all confusion, all evil, and any other power - no matter how powerful - which seeks to control you. Only as you walk in Him, can you experience it.

You might enjoy reading this encouraging description of 'the life', (I hope you do), from the thread currently running on Wigglesworth in General Topics, Was Wigglesworth serious? May the Lord lead you out.

Please tell me, do you know this hymn - 'And can it be that I should gain an interest in the Saviour's blood?'
