All Christians have a measure of God’s Spirit as I do. I was seeking the Lord God in the scriptures and reading about The Holy Spirit was as far as I could go. Only The Holy Spirit can reveal the hidden things of God.

A true Christian cannot but seek the filling of The Holy Spirit. The biggest rebellion against God is refusing the indwelling of His Spirit.

Lack of The Holy Spirit is the source of spiritual weakness.

Lack of The Holy Spirit is the cause of having little or no power.

Lack of The Holy Spirit is the source of spiritual blindness.

Lack of The Holy Spirit is the source of spiritual deafness.

Lack of The Holy Spirit is the source of spiritual darkness.

Lack of The Holy Spirit is the source of all our spiritual failure.

Some Christians can take the measure of The Holy Spirit and with personality and position can carnally preach, but if you have ever stood before a group for the first time to speak about the revelations of The Spirit of Truth you had received not from flesh and bones you know another meaning for weakness in the flesh, no power .
Peter preached with enough Power of The Holy Spirit [ all the glory be to God ] on the Day of Pentecost that hundreds were healed and converted.

Hi brother rowdy2,

You have set out quite a list of deficiencies arising from lack of the Holy Spirit, and I would like to suggest it this way round... that if we are in the things listed, it may be that our attention is on something else (than God) which is bringing that deafness, darkness, weakness... upon us. The only one on your list which I've studied in the past, is [i]blindness[/i], which seems to have an association with gold, money, materialism - that particular form of idolatry.

I now need to go study the other deficiencies with similar attention.
