Devotional: Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” The winepress of GOD does many transforming things in our lives. As a grape, so we are not fit for service unless we are pressed down, shaken together to produce blessings through our gifts…for others! Seek then – with great zeal – HIS winepress !

Transformation’s Winepress

Revealing disguises cloak nothing as such.
Hence, their presence…transparent…offends.
So why bother hiding what cannot be masked
and why camouflage wayward intents?

Thus we shrink in shadows…denying HIS light
when our will has been lifted up high!
As though under spotlights…declining much more;
thus deceived so display we…such lies!

But oh! How I long for my Saviour’s return
when HIS light shall crush Sin through HIS winepress!
At the end, shall I stand with my face – unconcealed…
thus changed to reveal…HIS likeness!
