Practicing what is preached -- Jasnoch

Devotional: Luke 6:42: “Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.” Unless the one who preaches is in line with the words they present before others…then they are doomed to the worlds’ view of Chance…known as Fate. The Pharisee’s were hypocrites, preaching daily to the masses yet following little of GOD’s or their own commandments. Be warned then, Self….to practice what you preach. Amen and amen.

To preach and not respond
to those words well known from CHRIST…
has graver consequence for one
who speaks with zeal…of sacrifice.

Having not a daily practice
of those actions HE designed,
so shall one be plagued with shame
and by their own tongue…so maligned.

Yes, criticized and stained
thus shall their voice seem as the wind…
because they chose to preach as “selfless”
fueled by actions known as Sin.

So, no blessing rests upon them
nor does “Higher Ground” await!
Only Loss joins with their spirit
and their greatest Hope…is Fate.

As HIS servant in your service,
