Why do we let our light shine before men?
So that they may see our good works.

And when they do, who should they glorify?
Our father which is in heaven.

Saints! be careful and mindful of this: the temptation of bringing glory to ourselves or anyone else. And be on guard against any who would want to glorify you, even among the brethren. Be like Peter who said, "Men of Israel why marvel at this or why look so earnestly on us as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk".

Saints! How easy it would be for us to walk into this sin of pride and the temptation of thinking ourselves to have something or be something. And the temptation to make others think that we are something.
