 Re:

I just mean that studying the Church in large prior to its union with the Roman state would give us a far different picture then what we believe today. The early church did not shoot people as it is, they forsook their lives for the kingdom of God, entrusting themselves to their King.

To make it clear I am not completely non resistance as some. We have biblical, NT places where Paul is snuck out of the city and such. All I ask for from anyone is the place in the NT where the apostles draw their swords and kill persecutors.

Jim,
You posted again...I like for you to answer my post...I hope your not trying to avoid it?

Are you saying that most people should of been killed by Gods will?? Because you're saying it was evil for that security guard to stop a man from murder! Rememebr he had alot of bullets left to shoot. The hate you speak of came from the man killing innocent people.
Again, was it evil to stop a man from killing people inside a church building??

Brother-
I will answer your post when I can offer you a clear word from scripture. I am not a fly by night hack who is here to be "right". Jesus is right, and all I wish to do is represent that honoring Him in an apostate Church age where all of us are victims of the time and place we live.

I do not feel the need to be held hostage to not posting until I answer you though :0)

Spiritual blessings to you in Christ - Jim

In the seconds that the security guard had to make her decision, how was she supposed to know that he was a persecutor of Christians, and not just some nut-job McDonald's reject like at the mall earlier in the week?

You've never been in a situation like that, so it's easy for you to sit at your keyboard and make these statements. I've been under fire before, I know what it's like to be shot at... and you dont have time to ask "Are you hear to persecute Christians, or did you just get fired from McDonald's??"

Just curious..do you wear long sleave shirts in the summer time? I used to be of legalistic group "old order church of God" that would wear long sleave shirts in the summer...and the leader told the husbands to write disobidiance on the heads of their wives if they didnt make breakfast for the husband.?

 Re:

To agree with what RayinPA was saying, look at what the female and male security guard did. Something is seriously wrong with this.

Brother, I do not wish to speak about my ministry, but I believe you are familiar with it enough to know that I am put in harms way. I could write stories you wouldn't believe if you weren't there. I have no plans to start packing heat for self defense though.

Thats a bit uncalled for. I may disagree with Jim on this topic (but not completely), but I do not consider him to be a legalist because of it. Jim is very zealous for God, and he is a challenge to me personally... he makes me rethink my position on things almost on a daily basis. But not once have I thought he was a legalist.

A stuff shirt, yea... but not a legalist. ;-)

BrentW- please do not directly address me anymore. I will not waste time speaking or responding to you or giving you an answer.
