Trials come into our lifes unexpectedly and we cry out Lord, I haven't done anything wrong please remove this. It would be easy if we had made a mistake to correct it and recover what we once knew. When these times come we need to look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. We need to fix our eyes trustingly on our Father, as hard as that often seems. We need to focus on Christ instead of our circumstances. Instead of the agonies of our crosses we need to focus on the crown. Instead of the suffering the reward. Often, he has a tendency to lead us away from where we would rather be so that we can gaze upon Him. Transforming us into His image is what He wants to do. I like the words from a song that reminds me of submission. Just give Him your heart, lift up your hands and He'll take it from there. Yes, He will take it from there.
Good thought! I think for those He is purifying in His church this will be a more and more common experience. Thanks again,Barry

I agree. I even believe that God is doing this work to prepare us to be in a receiving position when the revival He is bringing the church comes. He will only dwell with the pure and holy.
