Catholics are not saved?
chandras, why you ask?
I believe Catholics are idol worshippers.
Thank you for your answer, although my question was, why you are asking, not what you believe. So the question remains. Do you have some encounters with catholics, and that's the reason that you are asking? Or you are asking just as in quiz for statistic sake? Or you want some discussion on this subject, and if yes, could you explain more about what you want to discuss and the reasons of discussions and the goals you have set in front of you that should be achieved with that discussion?Thank you.
I think there may be a very few who are saved but for the most part a true Catholic isn't saved. I come from an Irish Catholic background. Irish are very serious about their catholisism-they've blown each other up over it in Northern Ireland, anyways the point is that my relatives who were raised in it were taught that Mary is the one who can save them, they pray to her, they pray to 'saints' they worship statues, they try to work their way to Heaven and say special prayers for heaven, they trust in their priest, the church, saints, mary and holy water and lit candles instead of trusting in Jesus Christ and the Bible says there is only one name given among men whereby we must be saved and that is the name of Jesus Christ our LORD.
Anyone who believes in Catholicism is not saved because Catholicism does not teach Biblical salvation. It's just like anyone who believes in Mormonism is not saved because Mormonism does not teach Biblical salvation.Krispy
Chandras you have post another question about catholic, and also you have another thread which catholic are you? but have made any input of your knowledge about the subject you have post. it is pretty much the same of your hindu/budish backround idol worshiper only difference is catholic have some knowledge of Jesus, but doctrine is misleading of the teaching and left a lot about Jesus and more focus on marry as a mother of God. If you are lack of knowledge of catholic history study it by reading history of the religion and many priest that become born again wrote so many book reveal the pegan worship/witchery .... look for a book about a catholic priest that wrote a translation of the bible from latin to english and gave it to the peasant, he is persecuted by the catholic high priest, his name is whitecliff. it is pretty good study to do like for yourself as you said you are doing evangelical ministry there in india.

I am an ex-catholic and became a follower of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I don't need a priest to pray for my salvation and confess my sin to a man/priest. Word of God came to me "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME." i can come call upon the thrown of God in Jesus name. I have studied about my old religion the truth reveal to me, like one exsample is never mention that mary had other children other than giveing birth to Jesus, and James is actually her son.... have you study the principle of mission chandras? it is very fascinating it would be very handy for you to know that for the evangalical work.
