Wanted to recommend a series of messages from Paul Washer that are remarkable. Made a few mentions elsewhere A vital doctrine the church has failed to teach me... after our sister brought one of them to my attention. There are 5 in total and can be found by scrolling towards the bottom of the page here, Paul Washer(The Glory of God) in Marriage(The Glory of God) in Ministering to the Lord(The Glory of God) in Missions(The Glory of God) in Moral Purity(The Glory of God) in Motivation~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Had gotten through "(The Glory of God) in Missions" where a number of things occurred. One is that while message titles are helpful and descriptive the beauty is in all that might be of a surprise to where they can lead. Toward the end of this one in particular, he goes on to describing propitiation in a manner that just arrests the thoughts and heart, must listen to it again, could hardly re-articulate it presently. But he grabbed something long since buried and termed it "the most difficult verse in all the bible", from Isaiah I believe and it was one of those moments of, "Yes, I had wondered about that ...". this is some of the best ...treatment, for lack of a better word, that I can ever recall on Gods justice and the Lords supreme sacrifice.

The Glory of God in Missions is pretty much 3 of the greatest sermons on this site wrapped into 1. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't listned to much Paul Washer beyond Modern American Christianity. In Christ - Jim
