On the point of 'America' joining the EU, it won't look like that politically, but as Catholicism continues to rise as a power in the US, the links with Europe are inevitably strengthened, remembering the Vatican has a seat on the UN (because Vatican City is an independent State); many highly trained - both secular Catholics and 'clergy' (I use the term clergy to signify religious training, loosely) - hold high governmental office in many countries.
They have a constitution, a one world religion, a common currency, the vessles and means for rebuilding the temple, I hear they know where the arc of the covenant is in a cave that they are trying to excavate---I can even show you the websight when I get a chance.All they need is permission.
