This post is just to let those who live outside the UK to know that a postal strike is taking place. It will last about four days. So any letters or parcels that are to be sent or received will not be dealt with until the four days are over. So, if you are sending or expecting mail from the UK, there will be about a week's delay in the process.I know this isn't very spiritual. It's not meant to be. It is just information for anyone who might need it. That's it.God bless.
I was expecting a parcel from england, and i was quite excited about this, but i phoned the company that sent this to me and they said this also.... seems there is some more waiting for me.ChristianEdit: I found out my Parcel is at "Oxford depot" whatever that means? England sure make some fine bibles....but other then that... :-P ;-) Christian

Just an update on the postal strike.Whilst this current stike will end midday 9th Oct, more stikes are planned for the end of the month, and possibly until Christmas. We have decided to send our overseas letters in early November, to possibly avoid any strike action during Christmas. It said on the news that there is a backlog of 105,000,000 letters to be sorted out when the strike is over, and the strike is costing £260m.So, right now, we just have to work around the strike which has been on and off since before the summer.Brother Christian, you are so funny!Yes, you can get good Bibles in England.Sadly, when you go into a Christian bookshop, the Bibles, commentaries, study books are all downstairs. The bestsellers are upstairs.Oh well, hope the strike is resolved soon.God bless.
thanks for the update! although my parcel has been transported under this strike, seems the English cant even strike properly :-P My parcel is now at the international hub, I hope that is the last stop before shipping to sweden, and my parcel contains just this fine made english bible :-)God bless you and englandChristian
This may be a silly question, but maybe someone would know. This wouldn't effect a package sent from USA to Kenya, would it? I sent a package and it's taking a very long time to get there.
