I've always, or at least for 24 years now, have
believed that justification, was the cleansing
of the sin committed in the flesh, or the act.
Sanctification is, how God, through our Lord Jesus
dealt with the sinful nature, which bound us all
of our lives, until through faith we accept the
finished work of Jesus. His blood sprinkled, to
wash us white as snow, his death, in which we were
also crucified , his resurrection which made us
a new creation, his ascension, which caused us to
enter his perfect rest, in the heavenlies.
