The Lord continually uses David Wilkerson to set me back on track.
Oh Lord, show me the way - for I delight to do thy will.

Thank you for posting this Kire.
And Rebecca, thank you for bringing it back to the surface.

Amen, and that's where I want to be, on the right track.

Revelation 2:20
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

This verse in Revelation is speaking to believers who "suffered" or allowed someone to seduce God's servants. God is asking the church in Thyatira to take action. The point I want to bring out here is that if we are not taking action than we are allowing and God says, clearly that he has this "against" them.

RebeccaF,

Psalm 37:4

Ask the Lord and if and when HE tells you to go, then go! Otherwise, stay and feed the sheep as Jesus told Peter to do!

God bless!

:-) I know what you are saying Lysa, I have told myself this over and over again. It sounds like the thing too do but I think this is just what the enemy wants us to believe.

IMHO, you are looking at the waves instead of at Jesus.

Now if this Jezebel was the pastor instead than scripture clearly says that we cannot build upon anything other than Jesus Christ, the cross, self denial and all that goes with it. Were supposed to be building upon Jesus our foundation and now are we supposed to not only build but build Jesus on something else??? So I'm supposed to take Christ and build on an apostate foundation???

Psalm 11:3
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Ephesians 2:20
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

These are just some questions I have been asking myself BTW, this is not a teaching. :-)

Hebrews 10:24-25

24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

This also has to be one of the most abused verses in the bible. I would love to see this put into context one day as to whom exactly we are supposed to fellowship ourselves with because light cannot fellowship with darkness.

2 Corinthians 6:14-16

14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

No doubt we have alot of discerning to do.

 Re:

What is going on in our church with the rap music ect.. is way beyond how bad we origianlly first thought.

The youth pastor is having our youth perform to this music and it is filthy, full of cursing and blasphemy towards God. He has them breakdancing while dressed up like demons and robots.

This is what David Wilkerson was referring to I am sure of it.

Please keep us in prayer. If something is not done soon we plan on going to the Assemblies of God headquarters.

We've already made copies of this filth and the lyrics to it.

It's worse way beyond what you could ever imagine. My husband and I could hardly sleep last night thinking about it. Right now we have atleast 6 girls in our youth group that are pregnant and one had a stillborn.

Please keep us in prayer!

This link by the way is our youth pastors You Tube account.

The rap music is so fast that you could listen to it over and over again and not know what they are saying. I could not even post on this forum the lyrics to this because of how filthy and blasphemous it is.

 Re:

Dear Rebecca,

The message by David Wilkerson really needs to be heard.

Please edit your posts and take the two links to youtube off!

Lets be careful to what sites we are leading people to look at.

Blessings to you!

I took it off. If anyone wants the link just pm me.

I sure hope though whatever church you attend that you don't turn a blind eye to what is going on just because you know it might be ugly.
