E-sword is a great tool. You can download some step libraries for free from e-sword and those are free books that are very easy to read. It's an incredible resource that I use often...

If you use Linux instead of Windows, you will need to use GnomeSword or BibleTime (although I think it's possible to run e-Sword under WINE in Linux).
