 His Dominion

A few years ago I read the following passage.

Gen 1:27-28
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
KJV

Not many years ago as a believer but not a Christian and then I interpreted this passage to mean God must have our physical features but now the main message I see is gave man dominion over some things. He is trying to tell he has dominion over everything. He gave us a little bit of what he is complete in. It is true our savior was born in human flesh fully man and fully God conceived when the THE HOLY SPIRIT overshowed Mary but I believe in Genesis he is mainly talking about HIS dominion when he talks about being in his own image. The question is does he have complete dominion now? He does most certainly. He gives each of us a season to repent. He is not willing that any should perish but all be saved. He controls the air we breathe. Just as spoke the solar system into existence and it spins and causes the seasons and if it got off course 1 degree it would destruct itself.

Gen 1:2-5
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day.

Our God is an Awesome God!!!!
John 1:1-14
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
KJV
