I really agree with this. EM Bounds has a powerful voice on this most important subject. What a treasure this download is.
Today it seems every Christian has a spiritual or political passion that is dear to their heart, from evangelism to environmentalism. How busy and concerned we are!
Yet do we pray? The fact that the Church, on average, no longer prays today, alarms me more then all of the monumental problems facing us combined.
Prayer is more important then all our issues. Prayer is the issuance of our issues, if our issues truly be from God. Issues without prayer are self-importance cloaked in religion. Ministry is especially vain without prayer.
Pray without ceasing brethren! Keep encouraging one another to stay close to the Lord at all times.
