| Top books recommended by A. W. Tozer | | I have a list of the top 41 books recommended by Ravenhill and I've heard of a similar list by Tozer. Does anyone have it? I've searched the internet to no avail and I'm greatly interested in seeing it.

| Re: Top books recommended by A. W. Tozer | | I'm not sure but this may be the list you've heard about from Tozer. There was a biography of Tozer written by David J. Fant, Jr., titled "A. W. Tozer, A Twentieth Century Prophet". At the end of that book Mr. Fant added a list of mystical works recommended by Tozer including, "The Ascent of Mt. Carmel" and "Dark Night of the Soul" by John of the Cross, "The Cloud of Unknowing" and "Theologia Germanica" written anonymously, "The Practice of the Presence of God" by Brother Lawrence, "A Testament of Devotion" by Thomas Kelly, "Christian Perfection" by Fenelon, and "Revelations of Divine Love" by Julian of Norwich. It must be noted, however, that the list was given by Mr. Fant with this qualification: "In recommending these books Dr. Tozer did not mean to put his stamp of approval on the entire contents. Rather they were offered as products of men and women who ardently loved their Lord; if any doctrinal defects should appear these would be far overbalanced by the spiritual verities."
You would have to get a copy of that biography to get the complete list, you can buy it HERE for $10.
Also, HERE is the Ravenhill list of 41 recommended books.

Do you mean this: AW Tozer Book Recommendation
But these are just Tozer's books.
Edit: Oh, you have found the right link. That's great.
