Dom, if this person is saying 3 "enities", then their problem is not with the Trinity per se, but in the Divinity of The Three.
Teas_of_Joy gave some good Divinity verses.
If this person believes in "God", are they questioning the divinity of Christ ? You'd need to dig further into what exactly they do believe. Are they Unitarian or Onesness {Jesus-Only} or someother "belief system" - like a belief they've just made-up and have chosen for themselves. It makes a big difference on how to approach this person. If they're Unitarian, then they don't believe Jesus was God - if they're Oneness, then they don't believe in the Trinity. But in either case, you can only use verses that prove the Divinity of all Three.
Here's a few more anyways.
Joh 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Joh 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom 'THOU hast 'given' me', that they may be one, as 'WE' are.
Joh 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in 'US': that the world may believe that THOU hast SENT Me.
Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and 'WE' will come unto him, and make 'OUR' abode with him.
Gen 1:26 And God {"Elohim"} said, Let Us make man in Our image, after [Our likeness.
Elohim. From Strong's - H430 = 'ĕlo^hıym Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God. Part of Speech: noun masculine plural. ~ Total KJV Occurrences of 'Elohim': 2605 times
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God {Elohim} said, Behold, the man is become as one of Us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever
Joh 17:5 And now, "O Father, glorify THOU ME" 'with' 'thine own self' with the glory which 'I had' 'with THEE' before the world was.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of HIS glory, and the "express image" of HIS person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high
From Strong's - "express Image" = G5481 - χαρακτήρ khar-ak-tar' - From the same as G5482; a graver (the tool or the person), that is, (by implication) engraving (["character"], the figure stamped, that is, an exact copy or [figuratively] representation): - express image.
Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

There's plenty more for the Diety of Christ and more in this thread with R.A. Torrey, etc..
If they're Oneness, there's tons I could post for that "Jesus-Only" belief.
Bless you for trying to help the person.
