"More then 2 billion people who do not know Jesus head toward hell to perish for eternity, while the church laughs its way to hysterian, claiming this is the sign of the last day's outpouring of the Holy Spirit... my brothers and sisters this is not Christianity." - K.P. Yohannan
Greetings everyone. This qoute was copied from the front page here at SI.
Brothers and sisters, something of what is described here has been much on my heart and mind lately and I have wanted to share it with you all. I hope it will be alright to share again a passage of scripture that I posted before, and others which have just recently come to my attention.
The prophet Jeremiah declared:
"Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD."
...and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness
I looked up this word which is translated lightness and according to Strong's, it means frivolity.
How heavy and solemn a thing it is to declare the counsel of Almighty God! Is the Holy Word of God being mocked by frivolity? The sacred sacrifice of Christ mocked by a gospel of gain and self-seeking and self-exaltation and men and women commending themselves and declaring their own works and goodness and ministry and name!?
But what does the prophet Isaiah say:
"All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant."
...they all look to their own way, every one for his gain...
...to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant
As Pastor Wilkerson asks
is this the gospel for a dying world? ...gain is godliness?
Just yesturday I saw this, from the prophet Hosea:
"The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred."
Brothers and sisters, I am very hesitant to post much about this but I have seen so much recently here in this city which smacks of madness. And this, being done in Christ's name.
the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad
What is happening to us?
And what is there to reap from fighting against each other and wounding the Lord's Holy body?
Chris
